The road to Carnegie Hall started in March of 2024 just after Wind Ensemble earned the highest possible ratings at their annual Music Performance Assessment (MPA).  Mr. Singletary submitted recordings from MPA to the Carnegie Hall selection committee. Gulf Breeze was one of only nine groups from across the United States selected to perform. 

Students and chaperones flew to New York City and spent three nights and four days exploring the city! The trip concluded with an exceptional performance at the famous Carnegie Hall that was adjudicated by some of the top concert band professionals nationally. The program consisted of several fine band masterworks and some of the top literature this group has ever performed.
