Ms. Donahoo is a 2013 graduate of the University of North Florida where she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education with an emphasis in percussion. While pursuing her undergraduate degree, she was a member of the percussion ensemble, jazz ensemble, concert ensemble and served as President of the National Association for Music Education (NAfME) Collegiate Chapter 115.

Prior to completing her degree, Ms. Donahoo participated in Drum Corps International (DCI), as a member Southwind Drum & Bugle Corps, Troopers Drum & Bugle Corps, and The Academy Drum and Bugle Corps. She was a charter staff member and the Front Ensemble Caption Head for the Performing Arts Concepts, Inc. (PAC) group Ancient City Ensemble and led them to earn a placement in WGI Finals during their inaugural season as well as the following year. Most recently, Ms. Donahoo was a percussion instructor for Choctawhatchee High School in Fort Walton Beach, FL and Director of Bands at J. R. Arnold High School in Panama City Beach, FL. She teaches private lessons for woodwinds and percussion, and is an active consultant for music programs across the Gulf Coast. She is a member of the Florida Music Educators Association and Florida Bandmasters Association.

This will be Ms. Donahoo's first year working with the Gulf Breeze High School Soundwave Band. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her fiancé, a fellow high school band director, and her cat Val. You can follow her adorable cat on Instagram @valentinanoirmeow.
