The Indoor Percussion Ensemble is a unit that participates in Winter Guard International (WGI) between late December and mid-April.  The Indoor Percussion Ensemble will compete against other high school groups on a local (Gulf Coast Color Guard and Percussion Circuit) and national (WGI Regional and Championship Contests) level. Although WGI is exclusively for percussionists, participation in the activity is open to all current band students that participate in marching band.  Entry into the ensemble is by audition only.  Auditions take place in November.

There is a financial obligation each student will be responsible for to be considered an active participant in the Indoor Percussion. Specific fees will be known in November/December for the upcoming Indoor Percussion season.
