The Gulf Breeze High School Color Guard is under the direction of Nozomi McEvoy.  All Color Guard students are enrolled in the school color guard class.  In this class, students will learn and demonstrate an understanding of basic to advanced dance/movement, equipment (includes rifle, flag, and sabre), and performance techniques.

 

During the summer and fall, all students in the Color Guard program perform as members of the Sound Wave Marching Band.  Combined with the winds and percussion, Color Guard members execute equipment and movement choreography that enhances the overall visual aspect of the marching band show.​

At the conclusion of the fall marching band season, Color Guard members have the option to participate in our Winter Guard ensemble.  Members of this ensemble continue to hone their performance skills through competing in the local Gulf Coast Color Guard and Percussion Circuit from January to April.
